The Scranton sesquicentennial committee will meet Monday, Jan. 29, at 7 pm in city hall. The committee is looking for additional volunteers to assist in planning the 150th celebration of the community. The date of Saturday, June 29, 2019, has been scheduled for the event.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend and become part of the planning committee. Members of Scranton Betterment, Friends of the Library, Varceis, 4-H, United Charities, or other individuals / organizations are welcome.
